i loved this video, i am not hawaiian but i so admire all who feel the hawaiian spririt. that is what dance is about.. keeping tradition alive, showing the struggles and triumps there have been in the culture. i so love hawaiian music, dance and of course food. it does not matter if u are mixed or not if u feel it, and are proud of it, that is all that matters..

@BatuSmoka808 outside my use of the vernacular "dese", with what are you having trouble understanding? while you have a point, albeit a much bemoaned lament posted AD NAUSEUM on hula videos, this does not belong on the comment page for one of the most respected halau in hawai'i, who have nurtured and perpetuated the sacred art of hula and oli for at least 7 generations. go beat a dead horse elsewhere.

cleanPdaking & BatuSmoka808....amen and ae pololei Im mixed to , no fault of mine and IM Hawaiian/Part Hawaiian no fault of mine SO Mr. okesaita...it IS RUDE for you to say where are all the Hawaiians....open you rmind/open your heart/shut your mouth and learn!!!! if we have to learn US history in school then the least you can do is learn our history to understand why things are the way they are here. Auwe!

DITTO, BatuSmoka808, you are sooooo right. Also, in addition to Hawaiian I am part both asian & podagee. But-not my fault. Back to what you said, "DEM" fokes is da reason for dis melting pot. Cuz big GIANT ole America wuzznt enuff. They have to have it all! You go now downtown & you cannot even find the palace!! SHAME! Mr. Okesaita, you will find "real" Hawaiians because that's what we are, REAL. But there are VERY FEW of us who are NOT mixed with all dat other stuff!!!
