  • Bryce, listen, you HAVE to get rid of that glitch in your forehand. You need to make your take-back and swing one CONTINUOUS motion. You are stopping and starting. This is going to limit you from reaching your potential unless you take care of it now. If you don't believe me, go to FuzzyYellowBall's website and look at what he has to say about the 5 things that ALL pros do on their forehand. 1 of the 5 things is the continuous motion. You are not doing that. Good luck! You are a very good player.

  • i think nick is wrong about his backhand

  • Forehand 7 out of 10, backhand 7.5 out of 10, volley 5.5 out of 10, service, 8 out of 10. I don't see any talent from his techniques. It seems like all the techniques were well taught from coaches, but Brice does not seem to have talent to make them his own. Weird forehand, no shoulder action. Plain backhand, not sufficient acceleration. Beginning level volley, like trying to make contact with the ball. Standard service, no throwing his body into the ball.

  • Actually, his forehand is not that weird -- it's typical of the American junior player's forehand. In fact, I would guess that this form is pretty typical of what Bollettieri teaches as orthodoxy. Look at Courier's forehand, look at Roddick's -- all this same, sawn-off motion. And believe me, this kid isn't changing his motion at this stage of the game.

The American tennis machine will never produce a stylist like a Federer, or a Leconte, or even a Marcelo Rios.

  • I'm surprised his arm didn't fall off...after all that's all that he was using

  • barf on the forehand

  • his forehand is wierd

  • actually pretty nice... but what i prefer is that you have to stretch out your forehand that you can reach allot more celerity... i had quite the same forehand as you have... but my trainers worked with me about it for at least have a year and now it is better than before.... but everybody has his own style for tennis

  • Too much wrist, too much arm, not a solid heavy shot.

  • forehand uses too much wrist

  • not bad at all.
