you know it is very common that people from India, especially the ones who cannot afford cremation of their relatives throw them into the river, thats why you can see many corposes floating on the water, anything strange for an Indian citizen. keep in mind that the water from ganga river is holy and it cleans up the sins and allows the reencarnation of the beloved ones.
