HotD: Overkill - Scream Train 1/2

When Agent G and Washington finally arrive at the nearest station, they soon find that Varla has already caught Papa Caesar. Tensions build further as Agent G wants to put Caesar under AMS arrest while Varla and Washington want to kill him, leading to an impromptu stand off. Taking the opportunity in his ususal inexplicable style, Caesar incapacitates Varla and makes his escape on the express train, leaving the duo to pursue him once again.

Once on board, the pair discover that this is no ordinary express train. Loaded with prisoners once headed towards Bayou County Jail, as well as a whole host of rapidly mutating passengers, it soon becomes evident that the infection spread from something released whilst the train was in transit. Couple this with one mysterious beast roaming the woods, sporting both angry and ugly in equal measures, and you have some serious problems. Just don't forget your ticket, or you might find yourself sporting more than just a mandatory fine!

This is my favourite, and one of the shortest, levels in the game so enjoy it while it lasts. I particuarly like the music and the clostrophobic cabin layout to the level which works wonders. Couple this with more than a smattering of disco humour and you have yourself a memorable stage. Now everyone do the mutant shuffle!

I also noticed an arcade machine lying about near the disco area called "Star Wrens". Man, I want to play that!

Watching this back I also noticed how at 4:06 the mutant in blue to the rear throws a knife straight into the back of the mutant in red who is stood in front of him, finishing him off. Just because they're all infected doesn't mean that all zombies get on well.
