  • I honor my son, Cpl Jesse Porter, Kiowa and Creek, of the 2/5 Marines who fought in Ramadi and Fallujah, and my cousin, Sergeant David Taptto, Kiowa and Nez Perce, of the 3/1 Marines badly wounded in the Battle of Fallujah. We thank God for the Navy Corpsman who saved my cousin's life at Fallujah.

  • I am Navajo and was inducted in to the War Shield Society. I am proud of all Veterns who fought for the freedoms of their peoples. I dance everyone of them, and i dance for all my uncles who served and my brother who will be serving. Be Hozho and fight with the warrior way. Aho.
