i playing trombone for this band in 2005-2007..
and i so proud watching this video today!!
experienced and happiness will not die in my mind with band members..

I attended one on 2007 and I was disappointed. The bands neither wasn't like our times or earlier. I don't see these bands members love their band. On the old days, we gave full commitment to make sure all section is well conducted and played.
Those days, when were part of the bands, we felt humiliated if we are not up to the standard. There are many eyes on you whenever you walk down the street with your instruments.

We were the best for marching and parade in selangor on 2001 and earlier. Our band mates gave 100% commitment when playing and we are so proud being a part of the band. The band manpower about 90 pax.
The coach have invited me to attend The brass band shows several times few years back.

I was the drum major for Dato Hamzah brass band on 2001. My brother was on the stage playing snare drum ( wearing white pant )..
As reported by the coach, The band performance grade dropped down rapidly after 2001. The coach itself made mistake on 2001. 75% of the brass band members were on their last year and no back up for the following year.

Anyway, i'm also a brass band member, 1st batch of SMK Dato' Ahmad Razali. We've just formed our band last July^^ I see we have a competition here. Haha^^
