In the overall scheme of things, it's about what you give. UNO and North High have teamed up once more for a great service learning project. The Malcolm X Memorial birth site provided the perfect opportunity. Check out this short video for more.

  • Check out mxfoundation on here. There's a new video posted that shows the end product of the project these students started.

There's LOTS more to be done, but the work has begun!

  • So what did they do? Finally clean up the weed-strewn, neglected birthsite of one of America's most influential voices that was silenced much too soon? I'm ashamed that Omaha doesn't care enough to admit the potential that was destroyed the day Malcolm X was assasinated. There should be more on this site. A learning, healing center sounds appropriate. Gardens and memorials befitting the memory of one who deserves much respect. Like they did for president (warren commission) ford's birthsite.
