@Hankhill02 Are you a lawyer? Lol? You just seem stupid. THose laws are for your protection

These protesters are stupid. The Police can videotape you just like you can videotape them. Know what the hell you're talking about moron!
-
these douche bags need to stop with their pointless protesting, and go home and shower. the real protesters are in Iran fighting for real freedom. go home smelly hippie
-
The pigs don't like it when we film them, they don't want to be caught murdering someone again!
-
Who the hell cares if the police video tape the protest ? ppl protest to get attention - attention normally means it is filmed wether by police or public or media. He was more concerned with the camera than what he was protesting about.

If this were for real then he would have been in plain clothes mixed in with the demonstrators. They never get in full police gear and stand right in front of you. FAIL.
The wolves live amongst the sheep. The fat guy yelling is more likely to be a gov't agent set there to get close to the others and decieve them.
Same way they took down Hells Angels.

this happened to my brother, a cop was in his house and when my brother discovered him... the cop scattered, even after being asked his name.

the problem is that these are similar images that were conveyed by thye nazis

You moron it does not help to repeat over and over and over whats your name and whats your bage number. if you can argue your case articuratly and have specific evidence but you don't have any you just think by keep repeating it will make it come true IT DOESN'T WORK.

I'll have to admit though, after all that ... I dont know of any regulation requiring them to give a badge number. I think to hang your whole argument on this is a little risky at best. Go after their Bond on the City, they can not work without it.
I'm almost certain though, that they must identify themselves upon being asked, I will see if I can take a look around.
Ok if this guy speaking and taunting isn't a lawyer said by Acumish who is he and why does he think he knows everything? Also I think it is sad and pathetic that the protesters are taunting the police (you can hear them in the background). I think they lost the whole meaning of the protest and decide to be immature. This protest ahd nothing to do with the war in Iraq. Way to go protesters, good job at making yourselves look pathetic.

That attourney is from the National Lawyers Guild. I'm working on getting the documentation that explains why it was not legal for police to film under those circumstances.

Deft work Acumensch. Far beyond the merely professional, quite a moving document of a deeply disturbing moment in time.

Thanks! This was the first PMR video with ambient music. Adds a bit of an effect.

Doesn't Tacoma have a statute that exempts officers from having to display their badge number or tell you their name?

It's probably another case-by-case statute.
