Thanks for your comments! Here are some facts due to your questions:

- Motor Turnigy 3530-1700 (340W factory rated but measured with 600W on this prop / lipo setup, flown over 1.5 years, motor still alive)
- ESC 50A
- lipo 2200 / 2500 mAh 4S 14,8V 30C
- prop 7 X 6 (due to more upward angle of motor we got a clearance of 2-3 mm to the fuselage)
- ailerons (depth 4 cm) added with carbon reinforcements
- wings reinforced with 8 mm x 1 m carbon tube (otherwise unflyable)
- air ventilation inlet and outlet essentially
- cost of motor setup depends on where you buy it, but should be something between 50-80$ in total (motor/prop/esc)

Hope your questions are mainly answered with these facts. Also read a detailed test and building report on www.rc-flights.com go to "testberichte" (German language only).

Thanks for watching and have fun!

  • @MrPopracing see description plz

  • How did you get Ailerons on that EasyStar? Did you mod it yourself?

  • @spyroth No, of course not! We wrote an email to Multiplex, asked them to add ailerons and a brushless motor especially for this one EasyStar, so 2 days later we received the plane ready built ;-)

  • wie weit ist die reichweite?

  • i really wanna mod my easy star off stock, im looking for up to date mods to make it fly again. I stored mine for years not realizing a simple wire off the motor was the cause of not flying it.. Over the years, the batteries perform half assed, and I can't climb even 100 feet in the air but its still fun to fly. I got the RTF version, so I need a motor, esc, lipo & charger, I just bought the newer prop for a stock multiplex. Wish I knew more bout RC, I'd be ordering not ranting....

  • great pilot !!!

  • @skyforceflightmodels Where in the description does it say if this is stock setup or not? I know that is isn't, but you don't actually say that. You could just be listing what came with the plane.
