The Ballad of Love and Hate - Avett Brothers Cover

I've wanted to record this song since I first heard it. It's nice how bad situations don't always turn out badly... It's taken me years to get good enough to perform the song. At least I think I'm good enough now. Feel free to correct me.

This is my first song recorded with two mics. Vocals were on my MXL 770, but the banjo was recorded on a new Shure SM58. I also worked uncommonly hard in Audacity with the final mix because I've been trying to learn about compression and EQ, and I think my efforts helped with the quality a little.
