POLICE CHASE: OHIO 17 YR OLD TEEN DUMP TRUCK JOYRIDE

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say an Ohio teen stole a dump truck and led police on a 52-mile chase before a flat tire sent him crashing into a guardrail.

The Akron Beacon Journal reports the dump truck driver, a 17-year-old boy from Stow, didn't appear to be injured.

Police chased the teen through three northeastern Ohio counties on Saturday after he was seen driving a dump truck that had been reported missing.

The Beacon Journal says the teen ran into two police vehicles and tried to hit another as officers attempted to stop the truck.

It's not clear whether the teen has been charged with any crime.

Awesome chase and I acctually repect these cops for not shooting. Not so much for the fact of saving the suspects life but because all the innocent civilians around. Sadly cops just open up anywhere and don't care about collaterall these cops did

i live in stow and saw the cars they were totalted lol. the stow cops were prolly getting off to this they never have anything better to do then give out turn signal tickets. stow cops are dicks!
