I agree. The No Party seems to be obsessed with the deficit since Obama was sworn in. If they were so concerned about the deficit, why did they let 2 wars start, pass 2 large tax breaks for the wealthy only, and putting McCain as their nominee in '08? If they were *really* concerned about the deficit, why do they STILL try to shut Ron Paul up?!?

Paul is the *only* republican that Obama should have in his cabinet. The only one. I wish Obama would have put Ron Paul in as Treasury Sec'y.

@endofscene Neither Edison nor Tesla "invented electricity". People were experimenting with electrical current for decades before these men were born. Edison was a great business man. That's it. Tesla was a ludicrously self-infatuated genius, but he sucked at business.

I don't think it's accurate to say Thomas Edison invented electricity, especially since it is Tesla's Alternating Current that we use to power the grid today. I think the idea of Edison as the greatest inventor is Propaganda taught in American schools. Edison's true success, like that of his friend Henry Ford, was in his ability to maximize profits through establishment of mass-production systems and intellectual property rights - a true master of the American Way.
