Working hard or hardly working?

People should always work hard. Umar was a very hardworking man. Some people give the minimum amount of effort. The prophet used to work and therefore you should be working also. Welfare is only for people who are desperate and can't find work. Even a person on welfare should be doing volunteer work if he can't find a job.
