Give gentiangiant some slack, I'm sure he wasn't comparing the sound of Liars and RHCP, just the whole situation of early RHCP and Liars. RHCP was doing something different back then. And no one really appreciated them until they got their big break. Liars are doing something remarkably different and creative as well, so here's to waiting for their big break.
