@JAwkneeboy - Dude.. I saw this commercial about 3 days ago and had to rewind it to listen to it again. I felt the exact way you did when you watched this... Who the hell would use this?

@jawkneeboy actually not at all. I don't take psychotropic medications, I am a mental nurse practitioner and was researching what was being said on youtube about one of the first line drugs I prescribe my patients. Why exactly are you on here?

Do NOT take Abilify. This drug causes extreme weight gain--approx. 7 pounds per month. And the weight gain DOES NOT level off over time. The akathesia (inner restlessness) is HORRIBLE. Being still is nearly impossible, even when I'm exhausted. Abilify also causes insomnia, joint pain and stiffness as well as hair loss. If anyone tells you there is no or very little weight gain with tihis drug, don't believe it. Diet and exercise won't solve the weight gain problem either. BEWARE!

ha! first let me say this is funny. but still, i'd rather continue taking abilify, even if i suffered all those symptoms because of it, than be locked up again in a psychiatric ward for not taking medication as prescribed. as for believing the shit actually works -- after a year of taking it i'm still not convinced. considering that it costs over $1 per mg (which i think is more valuable than gold itself, lol) i'd probably see more benefits from having the extra cash, LOL!
