TBone - Your criticism is pedestrian and says nothing, nor does it address any of the facts that I have presented in this presentation. I have studied Technocracy extensively over a long period of time, even to the extent of spending a week at the Univ. of Alberta in Edmonton to personally sift through the largest archival collection of original Technocracy material in the world. If you have something concrete to say, let's hear it. - Patrick Wood

This guy sounds like some Roman landlord that is told slavery is being replaced.

So its better to have lawyers then scientists to govern nations?

Mr. Wood doesn't see how the scientific method can be applied to politics, without creating a totalitarian government. Globalization is occuring, furthermore fossil fuels will soon be history. Technocrats solve problems, politicians can't solve due to there expertise. Currently "free enterprise" is a massive failure, since all political parties evolve to solve current technical problems Technocracy would evolve with the technocrats we would elect. Most of this tech already exists anyway.

@ReddingPatriots Apologies dude, I re-visited Technocracy and it is a Central Planning system. It is such a failure...
-
@fsufan850 I was thinking that too. He's trying to tear it down, but after listening to him talk, I'm more sold on it than I was.
-
@ReddingPatriots This is only a problem if you think free enterprise is a good thing.
-
So Mr. Wood is telling me that governments are working together to bring our energy consumption in line with our economic production? He's doing a better job selling this to me than the technocrats have, he should get a job as the Department of Energy as a spokesmen.
-
Technology needs feedback, it needs information to evolve, only cowards connects surveillance with decrease of freedom. Frigid technophobes.
The problem is not the way you stated. It is politicians that are dictating green energy ahead of it's time. Politics should stay out of the way in a free thinking society... This is why the Volt is a failure. The way Obama is running things, the oil industry is forced to buy oil from enemies. This is all so tyrannical what is happening to a once great nation.

so515033 Adding to my comment, Technocracy is not the advancement in knowledge, but the unorthodox control that is established. Under Technocracy you will become a communist with a one party power control. We can have advancement but there should be a competitive system to promote advancement and fairness. The way the UN wants this to be is a dictatorship. I hope you understand now.

so515033 I know Technocracy sounds all right to someone if you are only thinking that the design would establish efficiency. The underlying problem with Technocracy is that it give control to only one supreme power that can regulate how you use your energy without your consent. It is an attack on the free enterprise system.

Wait...so you supposed to store up treasures on the earth for yourself?!
What kind of bible is this guy reading???
Check @ 38 min.
Matthew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal."
Btw. This guy has 0 clue as to what Technocracy is about. Not even close...

@Firestorm12345678910 He only is telling you that Technocracy is created by people that would like to base trade on energy. It is a globalist attitude.

@JacquesBeard no one else seems to be limited. I think your problem is local.
