  • I will not resort to any name calling. I am just trying to point certain points out. The wide glide has a tank mounted ignition with a barrel key. This bike has a side mounted key on the left side. I think this is a very nice looking bike and just think that advertising as a Wide glide because it has a wide glide front end is wrong. Someone might buy this thinking it is a wide glide and in fact it is not.

  • @surrynet What I should have said was the twin cam shares some traits as the evo, especially the look. My correction, I know there will be all kinds of people calling names and disrespecting because of a mistake, at least I corrected myself. Takes a little man to resort to name calling, but a big man to correct himself. Let the name calling begin

  • @awkwardmagic Beg to differ, the 99 twin cam is still an EVO engine, ask any harley dealer., They have flathead, knucklehead, shovelhead, evolution, revolution, the latter engine in in V-RODS.

  • ayo let me ask this? aint a ducati 1098r faster in a str8 line and the track then this harley

  • As everyone has already pointed out, this is not a wide glide. First off the 1999 is a twin cam not an evo. The rest has already been explained. I have a 99 wide glide and this is not it.

  • FXR...the triangular section under the seat...

  • NO HE DOES NOT!

  • This is an FXR . Originally this bike had a Narrow glide front end which was swapped out for this Wide glide front end. It very well could be a 99 because in 1999 Harley had a two CVO bikes called the FXR2 & FXR3 that had EVO motors. And my guess is that the bike in this vid is a 99 CVO FXR because of the EVO motor and the primary on it. The derby cover on the primary is a 5 hole which is on all 1999 and later BigTwins. And only 900 of these were made. Hope this helps.

  • Sounds good but the" fxr "is definitely not in the "Dyna family"the r in fxr stands for rubber mount cuz it was the first rubber mounted engine HD came out with however other than the rubber mount and the swing arm the dyna and the fxr are completely different motorcycles

  • looks like a lowrider dash panel & tank with a road king frame?
