Shut the fuck up and let Mario Savio talk.

Shouting out "WHO'S UNIVERSITY?! OUR UNIVERSITY!" only gives you a false perception that you are truly exercising your right to free speech. Mario said himself that if even a republican politician went to Berkeley they wouldn't be listened to.

Personally I dislike Right Wing Conservatives but I would give them the respect and the decency of their right to free speech and hear them out. Learn a lesson from Mario, UC Berkeley. Start to act your age.

@saveadrum777 briefly.. it means that sometimes you just have to get up off your lazy ass and DO something even if that means putting yourself in harms way. otherwise you are complicit in the atrocities that piss you off. Also, that all it really takes to change the system is for individuals to stop using/relying/expecting or GIVING ANY SUPPORT to that system. ... it's being both the stick and the hand that shoves it into the spokes of the bicycle galled status coup.

Oof that is my mistake. I take full responsibility for that, however my comment still stands that free speech isn't just about chanting to give yourself the impression that you're standing for "your rights." It's about having the liberty to speak your mind and be heard, not just by one party (in this case the arrogant Berkeley students) but by all, despite how badly you might dislike them.

Thanks for pointing that out though, I just learned something new =)
