  • LOVE the dynamics and ensemble. The conductor is enjoyable to watch. I think I'll try that "sparkle" cue with the wind ensemble tomorrow as it seems to promote an open and round sound at least for the singers.

  • Lovely!

  • I would have like to have seen more of the singers and less of the conductor.

    Sounds nice though.

  • Lol, for me... "Luh" sounds kind of ugly, even if it is technically correct.

  • "Luh" is the authentic sound for a fast "la" in madrigals. Your director imposed modern choral singing ideas onto a Renaissance piece, but this is understandable since few choir leaders receive training in pre-classical music performance.

  • nice warmth, personally too slow for me. my choir director made us redo each section until no one said "Luh". lol.

  • my choir is doing this. it's far from my favorite song but not bad

  • I think it is a great piece by Thomas Morley, but I think you skipped a beat or so after "And you shall love me more". If I remember from my choir the measure was in 3/4.

  • Great! Our Madrigal group sang this and we are not that high spirited, so good job on that!
