@ellesmithfagan But then "Ghost" came out and I was exonerated....in 90% of loss to sudden death of the sweetheart, hallucinations happen - it's normal and passes - it protects the mind and body against the shock of loss....a knee-jerk reaction that passes.
IN the movie it goes into the extreme of course because of the added element of murder, but the basic fact of Hallucinations is normal. When the shock point is resolved - the murder solved - and all are safe- the hallucinations go away.

The title is "Unchained Melody"
I sang that song looking at the moon dreaming about my handsome prince to come when I was 14....in the sixties.
Having found him, did not need it again - his Dad was a Fed and we thought it funny that the song was sung by the Righteous Brothers - one of our little jokes.
Years later when I did need it again, when he died suddenly, I could not sing a note if my life depended on it - the sentiment was too extreme to be a song.
