Burda Part 2 - Talib al-Habib

On Saturday, October 20, 2007, SunniPath Academy and Nur al-Habib Productions were excited to present "In Praise and Gratitude: A live online Eid concert featuring Talib al-Habib."

To our knowledge, this was the FIRST exclusively online nasheed concert. It was broadcasted using SunniPath Academy's live session player used for broadcasting real-time courses, lessons, and events to students around the world.

Songs at this concert were both traditional ones and songs written by Talib al-Habib from his albums 'Songs of Innocence' and 'Rahma'. The following songs were sung live:

Talib al-Habib
Talib al-Habib (seeker of the beloved) is the pen-name for a popular nasheed artist based in the UK with two released albums -- 'Songs of Innocence,' an intensely personal journey into the experiential dimensions of Islam, and 'Rahma', described as an anthology of exquisite nasheeds based entirely on Hadith. He currently lives in the West Midlands with his wife and two daughters, where he practices as a Medical Doctor specializing in Psychiatry.
