And the Emmy goes to..General Hospital for best show, and Gloria Monty accepts the award from fellow winners Douglass Watson and Judith Light.

Again, the clips from the nominated shows are wonderful. As is seeing all those familiar faces once more.

Interesting that you mention that. Because the original recording was made on a Betamax machine. I transferred it to VHS, and then to digital format.

@Bluebirdsims that would mean Soaps are 0.00 percent great now! I think their just going with the motions now. Does anybody REALLY like these shows now? They appear now to be nothing more than a 12 year old pubescent boy looking to get his fix with a hand and oil by staring at Kirsten Storms...or even Cam Mathison, whoever!

Gloria...her face needs to be under the definition of what "Cool Soap opera" should be...she'll get her due! RIP Douglass as the longtime fan favorite Mackenzie Cor from AW...Judith Light? What can I say? She had beauty, she had talent. If you have both, you're gonna make it in this business. I just don't see that with Bree or Melissa. How Judith wound up on a program like Who's The Boss?(not such a good 80's classic) I'll never know. She had too much class for that!

yea i love lady v...but yea this years emmys could have been better...it had its good and bad moments, but again i would have enjoyed seeing clips from all the acting nominees...and the winners given their respect due to say their thank yous...

Too spot on for me.  Did you see the 2009 show? No time to show best actress clips -- but let's see yet another production number from Vanessa Williams who's not even on daytime to boot!

i prefer for them to show long clips as well even more than the musical montages they use now

To have watched them and remembered them (in the least bit of way) I think you would have had to been born about 10 to 20 years before the clips first aired that are shown here -- so wish that you could've been born sometime between 1961 to 1971, instead.
