You are probably not going to read my comment but PLEASE, I really REALLY hope you will upload the movie VIVRE SA VIE, also by Godard, with English subtitles too so that I could view on my iPhone because all the other ones on YouTube are blocked on the iPod or iPhone :( PLEASE! I PRAY that you will consider my request! I am really desperate to catch the show! Please!!

@terratrema Gotta disagree with you there. Alphaville and Pierrot Le Fou are my favourites, possibly because the characterisation is better as they are based on his relationship with Karina. I like all the rest you listed except Made in USA, Sauve qui Peut (La Vie) and Prenom Carmen, which is a mild rerun of Pierrot. Most of his "return to cinema" stuff from 1980 to 2011 is poor, mainly because it's increasingly bitter and old man-ish. Even so, there are great moments in even his failures.

Je n'aime que le début. La liberté n'est pas dans le meurtre et on peut faire de la romance, ça n'efface pas les limites de la sauvagerie et de l'horreur. Je met la liberté au dessus ...de sales cons assassins prêt à tout pour satisfaire leurs pulsions.
