  • I have a comcast cable box. I was able to open it on AV/C but when I click on Start Viewer my VLC player does not open automatically. And when I open the VLC player manually, it does not have a udp:\\ assigned so I don't have a number.

    what should I do?? hmmm...

  • i need this on pc running windows 7. any help would be great. thanks

  • Forgot to mention that in order to record, you will need to use another application that comes with the FirewireSDK called AVCVideoCap

  • it captures as a .m2t file so you would have to find some sort of converter to do this...

  • i just need the firewire wire

  • Great video, If I had a Mac I'd try this.
