It was REAL cold when I shot this video clip of a short westbound that had just made a pick up at the yard in Rochester, New York. The temperature was about 20 degrees and the windchill made it feel like 12! Rochester Yard was built by The New York Central which then became the Penn Central in the mid 60's. The yard was down sized to it's present incarnation during the Conrail years and is now owned by CSX. It is located at M.P. 369 on the "Chicago line".
