This is a video of the first foal (a colt) born in 2009 at Silver Spurs Equine. Watch the foal at 1 hour old bonding with its mother and taking his first steps.
The foal's sire (sorry we haven't named him yet) is Docs Fritzie Command. "Doc" was the first horse in AQHA history to make the finals in both the NRHA Futurity and the AQHA Snaffle Bit Futurity. "Doc" was sired by Fritz Command (by the Eternal Sire King Fritz and out of Southerlands Miss). Doc's dam was Ann Doc Bar by the Eternal Sire Doc Bar.
The colts dam (mother)is Miss Chica Boom who was sired by the NRHA Million Dollar Sire - Boomernic and out of Sugaretta Cody (by Chubb Cody and out of Rosetta Chex).

A funny thing is that some animals when they're just born you can't tell the gender but horses you can tell right away!
