  • i think we look at this one sided... legalism i mean... for instance...legalism says... i have to be an ordained pastor to baptize, preach, evangelize, minister in the gifts of the holy spirit... in accordance to the legalities of denominational churches... not what the bible says...

  • I have a very hard time trying to understand how anyone could ever think of themselves as sin free and perfectly obedient under any circumstances. I understand the desire to try be perfect but I can't imagine anyone other than Jesus having the ability to control over every thought, emotion and word that comes out of them. The Holy Spirit would have to take complete possession of us to accomplish that, IMO.

  • Some quote "the soul that sinneth, it shall die" and linking it to salvation. They insist that even though one claims the His Blood, if they don't obey and keep His commands they will be judged. They call Grace that forgives sin after the initial conversion a doctrine of demons. They insist that the Spirit enables one to perfectly keep the Law. I ask them if they now justify themselves before God by perfectly keeping the Law like Jesus rather than any further need to accept ongoing grace.

  • @janeym "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. - Deuteronomy 4:2 NKJV

  • Legalism is literally wreaking HAVOC on my social life! I almost got criminalized just because a female lacked composure toward me! Instead of people resorting to legalism out of crippling and instinctual fear, try living and letting live!

Before we were saved sin was our master. We lived under its control.

In Christ we have moved out from under the dominion of sin. Sin no longer controls us. We are no longer under it’s power or lordship.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." 1 Cor. 10:12-13

  • People who never repented Paul Washers way (constant repentance) that according to him are not saved and will face the wrath of GOD-

Jesus Christ, Mary Magdelene, All 12 Apostles, the Gentiles saved under the preaching of the Cross (Acts 10:44-46) the Phillipian Jailer; the thief on the cross; Paul the Apostle; Abraham; Moses; Sarah; Joseph & his12 brethen; Rahab the Harlot; Ruth; demon possesed man; leper; blind Bartimaeus; myself (Anita Fuentes); and millions more around the world.

  • I am blessed so much by these messages! Where can I find more?

  • If a person who thinks they are free in Christ gets a tatoo, are they going to hell? or piercings? or watching worldly entertainment? hmmmmm...
