Jiangxi Xishan International School Kung Fu Group at Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2006

The event in 2006 features performers from Australia, New Zealand, China, Uganda, Chile, Switzerland and South Africa, as well as from the UK, who join in the magnificent annual spectacle of music, dance and drama on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle.

Highlights include the largest massed pipes and drums ever assembled on the castle esplanade and the exciting New Zealand Army Band with its worldwide reputation for musical diversity and marching skills.

The shorts feature individual performances that echo its country of origin. Stand-out pieces include the African orphans of the Watoto Children's Choir and the Swiss Top Secret Drum Corps.
