This is an update to my original music submission for Tom Francis' upcoming game Gunpoint. The first submission can be found here!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEZOAuqETIY&context=C32cbcd5ADOEgsToPDskKJ...

This time around, I've made a few small changes to make my entry a bit more adaptive than it was before. There are now different layers for sneaking inside/outside, as well as a new synth and string layer for when you've alerted guards. Also, Tom mentioned on his blog for the game that my original "escape" theme might be a bit dramatic for some levels, so I've also included a new lower intensity version for when you've reached all your objectives but there are no guards present (or conscious).

So the game states you'll now hear different music or layers for are:
General Sneaking/infiltration
Inside building layer
Guard alert layer
Crosslink layer
Low intensity es

Anyway, enjoy, and be sure to check out some of the other submissions. There are a lot of great ones out there!

  • Perfect. That's the only way to describe this

  • @Schinak Wow. Thanks!

  • Best fits the mood of the game, IMO. Good luck!

  • @NuclearSidewalk Thanks a lot! He ended up choosing me and two awesome musicians with similar jazz/retro styles for the project, so I'm really excited. Thanks for listening!

  • Nailed it, dude.

  • @dredlockz Seriously, thanks man. Somebody better tell me something I did wrong soon, or there will be no stopping my ego. This is how supervillains are born.

  • Wow, this is really good! I really have nothing negative to say about it, even though I'm submitting a track of my own as well. Mine treats it much more like an action game. I hope my track makes it in for one of the really intense levels or something.

  • So great.
