  • Thank you for posting this Video, it documents a women lead who was edgy, provocative, intelligent, sexually sensuous and sexually confrontational, like many of late 70s early 80s independent bands with women leads forging new sounds and looks influencing millions of people all over the world, unfortunately now women leads have turned into prostitution dolls to get attention and the cloning of sounds and looks of the past, never breaking out and going against the monotony of the 21 century.

  • @peskystudent Right On The Button...A perceptive analysis...Couldn't agree more!

  • I too was at that gig bauhausZZZZZ - drunk muppets gave Hard Corps a hard time which they ignored. They were forging something new and different(NO GUITARS? OH MY GAWD!)and it frightened the muppets. I saw them again a few years later at Wembley supporting Depeche and they were awesome. Different, hard, melodic, raw. I am so glad I delved deeper into this band. BTW the gig was 1985(a year out!)and the band are English, the singer French. So they never left these hallowed shores little Englander!

  • does anyone have lyrics to metal and flesh?; hard corps kicks ass - i don't understand why they were not more popular

  • Minimal Wave Tapes Volume 2!

  • As soon as I hear this it invokes impressions of someone robot dancing which is what they used to do to this electro beat.

  • @gurgegh So did i .. . . and still bouncing off the walls now .. superb . .

  • I heard this once on John Peel and so got the 12", late night sound bouncing off the walls

  • weirdo i luv you

  • The musics really good - vocals ok - I heard this music with a soul singer going over the top back in the early 80's, but didn't know who it was - I think they used to body pop to it.

  • @AnWeiSi saw them support the Mode at the NEC Birmingham and yes what an arse! :)
