Post Apocalyptic Dieselpunk Gun, modded Nerf Maverick

While on the road, just over 3 years ago, I tried to create a Post Apocalyptic, Warhammer 40k like gun. The out come is this - Ebony. After hours of prep work in the "Battle Worn" WH 40k feel then adding a paint job to it, I managed a pretty good job for a Modded Nerf Maverick. As you can see the paint job, after nearly 3 years of constant nerf wars and casual shootouts, has lasted pretty well with only very minor touch ups.
Internal mods include - Air restrictor removal, full barrel extension, and improved and lubed plunger seal.
Ranges:
Stock darts: 42' average
Stephans: 45' average.

Seriously people, I put "modded Nerf Maverick" in the title. if all you have to say it "Nerf", "it's a nerf gun" etc. Please save it and instead try something constructive.

@adamcoockieisawsome was used in many stand offs in many hotel rooms :) it was usually the stand by sitting within arms length, so that if there was a dart flying at me i had something to retaliate with.

i need to know this. what type of paint do you use? i make steamounk stuff as well but mine wont stick

It'd be awesome if you had used glow in the dark red paint, then it would look like it was from red steel or something.

The painting looks atrocious, thus giving the effects and appeareance of a true post apocalyptic gun. All I can say is, great job considering the effects
