Working Apartment Fire Lt Edwards FC 3 Helmet Cam 1-6-10.mp4

On 1/6/2010, the 22 house was dispatched on multiple calls. The 1st call of the day was dispatched House Fire on West Railroad St in Lonaconing, MD. The 2nd call (Featured) was a Working Building Fire at 10 Gilmore St in Keyser, WV. Engine Tanker 22 was dispatched on the working fire assignment. Engine Tanker 22 responded with 6 and Lt 22 Pattison. Units arrived on the scene and began an exterior attack on the fire in the B/C Corner. Engine Tanker 22's crew arrived and began setting up for the RIT Assignment. The crew threw ground ladders to the building and made a 360 of of the building. The crew remained RIT throughout the fire however they assisted with some overhaul later during the incident. Crews remained on the scene for approximately 4 hours. Units on the scene from Keyser (33), McCoole (23), New Creek (38), Fountain (39), Potomac (22), Tri-Towns (24), Bowling Green (8) and Keyser EMS (57).

@TheJohizzle I don't personally use an FC3, but this is one of the guys at my firehouse. That camera seems to do a very good job for the price of the camera.

RIT stands for Rapid Intervention Team. Thats a Firefighter crew that is ready and able to going into a fire or situation to save firefighter that might possibly be trapped or lost inside a fire.

@bighunter315er I've had my FC3 for a while now and I absolutely love it. Everyone on the department is getting them now. Well worth the investment. It can see in smoke better than I can and the audio is outstanding. I learned the hard way about the SD card though. A few good fires on the cam are terrible quality. Oh well. There's always more!

@TheJohizzle I have an fc3 mini hd 720p and its great as long as you use the recomended micro sd card! i highly recomend this camera and have one on my helmet. i have interior vid on my page with the fc3. if you watch it youll notice a glitch... thats from not using the recomended sd car. (i made sure i upgraded)

@JoshIsDope843 my local department described it to me this way. "If there is a firefighter hurt or trapped on the other side of this wall, we will go through the wall." Basically the same thing irons22man told you. Just with an example.
