The Swell Season in HD - Front Row - Taking It To The Maximum (unreleased) @ Mountain Winery 2010

This was filmed immediately before the awful event, and cuts right before it. I will never post what came next, so please don't ask.

This was an incredible show up to that moment, one of the best I've every attended. No disrespect to the memory of the person who took his life that night, but I want this night to be remembered for more than just that event. That is the main reason I'm making this, and the other clips available. I love this band. Any stupid comments will be deleted...

FYI: I contacted the band's management and he put me in contact with the authorities investigating the case. I got the full clip to the police, and another copy to the band. Hopefully nobody else will ever see it. I certainly want it out of my mind. To anyone else that was there that night, and to any friends/family of Michael Pickels, my thoughts are with you, and hope you are healing from this traumatic event.

I was at the same show in the back of the audience, so my view of the suicide was a different perspective, although still troubling. So sorry you had such a close view of what happened. I'm glad you posted because this band is amazing--the night was beautiful up until the moment that it turned tragic. I still feel angry and resentful about being forced to witness that, but I refuse to let my feelings about what we saw taint the amazing music that Swell Season shares with the world.
