The game is called the Witcher, the combat revolves around clicking the attack button at the right time, which is actually a lot more exciting than it sounds. The Medium and Easy difficulty settings have more visible clues to indicate when to click next, however I play this game with the Hard difficulty setting. There are tons of choices, I tend to go with the sensible and moral choices, though this might put you at a disadvantage from time to time. I might upload videos for alternative choices after completing the entire story.

What's the max level in the game?

Level 50.

If you progress naturally through the game and complete most of the quests you'll reach up to about level 40.

Obviously I don't do any xp hording in the walkthrough.
