Video Description:
District 9 was a great movie for a number of reasons. The parallels to Nazi Germany concentration camps, and apartheid are striking, to say the least. One of the things that had a big effect on me was the alien child in the movie and how innocent he seems even though he is an insect or "prawn" as they're called. I walked away wanting to sponsor a family of prawns for just "25 cents per day". Call me a softy, I don't care. All we are is dust in the wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnddd!!!

? From analyzing this movie, the humans own ALL the prawn castes, hence why their in camps, hence why Christopher and the baby prawn live in a shanty town, sure does mark their superiority, even though they need the help of a human.

@sanik00 Humans only own the low IQ prawn caste, Christopher and his child are smarter and from a more advanced caste. I think this movie illustrates the drama of the lonely genius (and his child who inherited his intelligence) when surrounded by idiots of all races (White mercenaries and corporatists, Black witch doctors, warlords and scammers, and even a lower caste of their own species that are mentally retarded and can't function in a civilized society without the smart prawns' supervision)
