Connie Alderman read the following statement:

I, and others in this room would like to make a motion asking that Chuck McGroddy step down as President of the SVCA for the following reasons.

You have shown total disregard for the rights of the owners and have allowed the operations of our community to get financially out of hand without giving us approval over reckless spending on unwanted and unwarranted items One example is the installation of 19 Security Cameras, which were installed at the cost of $90,000 to the membership, $50,000, over budget. We never authorized
this purchase. It also consists of an invasion of our privacy.

There has been total disregard for our covenants and restrictions. Lawyers are consulted at great cost to the owners to reinforce any position that the board wishes to take against the homeowners. This is discriminatory. Our legal fees are totally out of control. We are not given access to mediation, nor do we have any Homeowners' Bill Of Rights.

The trust in your leadership is totally broken down. This is a rogue board, who does not honor our own Articles and Bylaws. We are not told the truth about employee situations, even though they work for us. Lies and deception are rampant.
We have been bullied into misrepresentations of our bylaws by rewording RCW's to meet the objectives of the Board and trying to force them on us.

We do not trust that the upcoming election will be held on equal ground, and we are expecting some new underhanded method to obtain access to our DRR funds like another "presumed to pass" that is almost impossible to defeat due to the percentages required., If that is what you are planning to spring on us, it will not work.

At least we are expectant of your plans.

It was our error to allow you to continue without reigning in your actions earlier, but earlier failure to act does not have to continue.
The Board has refused to be held accountable for any of their mismanagement ,or for that of our General Manager, Dave Wareing, and we, the owners. are fed up. I would like this to be attached to the minutes and to become part of the record.
