White Bellied Sea Eagles Sea Eaglet died 8-19-2011 Sydney Austraulia

On Aug. the 18e one Sea Eaglet died. The reason is not sure. I notice with looking back the recordin, the eaglet did not get or take food the 18e . Maybe he/she was already weak. Normally a 5 min. video but this is a 10 min. video. Also because it is a compilation of 24 hours.

Thanks BeautifulEagles, I do not think so. I did observed the recording and in my opinion the bird looks a bit weak to me and he also did not eat the whole day. The pigeon was laying on the edge of the bowl, so no suffocate. I wait for the official news.

Very sad... thank you for documenting this sad event. Was a pigeon delivered to the nest? And did S1 suffocate under the pigeon?
