i'm sorry but this makes absolutely no sense to me... why can't you just play it note for note like the other guitar tutors

@ElmTheWar Had you downloaded the eBook? That is exactly what we are doing here, going through the transcript "note for note". The object lesson is to focus on the actual notation and NOT the tab, I want people to be more literate as reading musicians. Being that this is Lesson 2a, I can see how jumping in "late in the ball game" can be a bit confusing, try starting with the intro of the series if this something you care to study.
