I saw this when it was 1st released Brilliant film & a credit to the age in which films were made No cgi, EVERY stunt was real!! Brilliant comment har4587, your a part of history!!!!

@har94587 The stunt guy in 4.24 looks like he's in a risky situation - maybe he was the one who was injured. You were a part of history!

Ya, CED. It was like a record player in a cartrige. It had very good video but it would skip like a record and they say there was only 50 titles released.

I was a member of the San Mateo High School Marching Band, (CA), that was in that car chase. It was filmed on a Saturday 1973 in front of the Pacific Stock Exchange on Pine Street. Took us all day long to film. There were stuntmen and women wearing our band, and cheerleaders uniforms. One stuntman was injured, The catered lunch was great. As I watch this clip, I can see some of my friends from that day. We later mounted a crumpled trombone on the band room wall as a trophy to that day.

Sonny Corleone's revenge on freeways connected to toll bridges.
I saw this once on that old RCA cartridge disk thing they had back in the early 80's

@brown9708 Yeah, the CED format. I used to have one of those too. It was pretty damn cool until the laser disc came out.

Where oh where oh where did you get a LETTERBOX version of Freebie and The Bean??? I've been looking for a widescreen version of this gem of a cult movie for years but only have a beat up pan and scan version on VHS

It actually came out on laserdisc here in the US in a beautiful letterboxed transfer. Needless to say, it's rediculously rare.
