Recipe 1 of 150!

I really liked this recipe! It will feed 6-8 or could easily be doubled for a crowd. Great for a family meal on a week night or even having friends over. I also liked that I have all of these ingredients on hand (except the fresh parsley which cost me $0.48).

Feel free to message me if you would like the complete recipe.

  • great job! i love cooking rich southern dumplings, grew up around southern cooks....a good tip for placing dumplings into pot with the spoon is to dip it in the broth then your dumpling mixture and it will slide right off! looks yummy!

  • @rintube12 Thanks for the tip! I am excited for cooler weather- I will be making this again for sure!!!

  • mmmm looks great :)

Thank you! This might still be my favorite new dinner that I've tried this year- it was sooooooooo good! Maybe I'll make it again this week?

  • I have that cookbook! Isn't it great? I actually got their new book, "Cook's Illustrated Cookbook--2000 Recipes" for Christmas. My family likes these recipes from their book--Triple Chocolate Pecan Pie, Thai-Style Chicken with Basil, and Chewy Chocolate Cookies. If you haven't made those cookies, you should. They are amazing!
