2 camps overshadowed Christmas 1999: the y2k threateners & the year 2000 enthusiasts. The 1st group made me not enjoy 1999 as much as I should have, and the 2nd group drove me nuts with their hype. I didn't care about 2000 coming, 1999 was good enough for me. But unfortunately because of the 2 types of hype, I don't even remember Christmas 1999

Christmas 1999 was sadly overshadowed by the Y2K scare. This was 1 of the last of the NICE Christmas commercials. I love the pretty music at the end! When the "new millenium" came in, so did the new junk tv.
