  • I think Microeconomics is way, way, way more interesting than Macro. The media does a great disservice to the field of economics by making economists appear to be the "weathermen of money." In fact, I'd quibble with you (sorta) on one point. When I studied micro, the revelation for me was that Micro is concerned with more than money. It's really about the whole world of decisionmaking. Which, if it's taught well, is mindblowing. And causes some great self reflection.
