John Cleese and Jonathan Miller perform a sketch about two philosophers at "The Second Amnesty Gala" in 1977. This is absolutely one of my very favorite comedy skits of all time. I have literally watched this countless times over the years, and never once has it failed to make me double over and howl with laughter. For me, it is sheer comedy brilliance at it's finest. I have yet to meet someone who finds this as funny as I do. Most Americans in particular, just don't get it. As with so many other things where my taste is concerned, this only affirms that I was born on the wrong side of the pond.
