@RolandJP4 It was actually produced by John Leckie of The Stone Roses fame

I'm crazy about New Wave and Synthpop Music but there's no way I can't get me to like The Human League. What is wrong with them? They're so... WEAK.

@lambie22 I think if Oakey had carried on without help from Burden, Callis and Rushent he might have come up with some great stuff. This track is great - kinda raw, wonky and sprawling - I love it. But he probably wouldn't have got the pop breakthrough. He also does a great track on The Future album - 'The Circus Of Doctor Lao'. This single's Bside 'Tom Baker' is great too.

@wgaule Thanks. Didn't know that. Sounds like something Martyn and Ian would have did.

This sounds different from their pop music later in1981and much more like the original Human League.

This is not so far off from modern dark electro. Years ahead of their time.
Is it true Martyn and Ian weren't part of the making of this Song?

@JonMcElectro Yes, this was the first single after the big split, just before Dare in 1981
