Anyone use the combo version? I'm planning on getting my first valve amp and on paper it seems to be what I'm looking for.

Man, throw this tele in a trash and buy a Les Pau, for the style of your music a LP would fit u way way better, otherwise this amp doesnt sound good with tele, at least a strat. Don't know why but i hate telecasters hehehee... Keep Rocking!!!

These amps really hit home in a lot of ways without getting into much specifics of high end gain heads or vintage gear. I think this amp is a great go to amp which would satisfy the classic rocker or someone who was after a fat tube overdrive tone no pedals.I though clean it had a wholesome thick useful sound maybe not so jangly as a fender but it was a good sound. Some of the mid distortion sounds are interesting. I would maybe eq it or had the occasional pedal here and there for color.

Thanks...that thing sounds amazing really....I've been checking our amps her ein Finland...trued the peavey classic 30 which was great but didn't get a lot of top or bottom end...the vox ones are nice also...blackstar combos were nice but sounded different in the shops compared to all the reviews here, think they NEED to be cranked up before they sound amazing...and now this orange...amazing...

i love chappers, don't get me wrong, but i think its better to hear what an amp really sounds like with what an ordinary, *but still great guitarist) not f*cking shredding, cheers dude, ive subbed :)
