  • Jackie Earle Haley should have won. His performance in Little Children was AMAZING.

Nothing against Arkin, of course. He did a great job, but I think Jackie got the shaft there.

  • I agree. JEH was chillingly good.

  • why should eddie murphy be so dissapointed ? His acting is not that amazing , yeah sure hes a funny guy and entertaining to watch , but such people as kate winslet got nominated 5 times for an oscar and didnt win once! Now thats frustrating.

  • @redhibernation

Typical responce & quote. What else is new?

  • Does anyone honestly believe this was given for Alan Arkin's performance? It was a "death to Murphy" gesture, plain and simple.

  • @redhibernation

Alan Arkin could act circle around Murphy without half trying.

Typical ignorant youtube poster you are, making it into a racial thing.

  • No love for Mark Wahlberg.

  • EU QUERIA, EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA,EU QUERIA EDDIE MURPHY!!!!!!!!!

  • And, while I'm sure that shows solidarity for his co-stars in the case of Mo'nique & George Clooney, it still appears that he's being rude by not congratulating someone for their win... the same holds true for Beyonce & her father. They might be upset that their friends didn't win, but, it's just petty not to applaud because "you don't feel like it". I imagine the reasons behind attending an award show are to show your support. Still, televised childishness is what it is.

Maybe they didn't FEEL like clapping. The same George Clooney didn't clap nor get up on his feet (WHEN THE REST OF THE CROWD DID) for Monique when she BEAT OUT HIS TWO COSTARS for the Oscar this past year.

  • Typical of white Hollywood to give it to an old white man. Murphy definitely deserved to win.
