@cccfish10221022. Ironic kind of, my mom and I were talking about this song this morning and i was talking about that particular scripture so she looked it up and read it to me...I believe what it has to say 100%, and after listening to this song it hit me harder about how important the scriptures are. :)

@Tessisidatokmigirass hi, i understand what you are saying but there is great power in the Word of God, they are the words of God after all. Singing the Word of God is powerful because the power of life is in the tongue. Afterall books like Psalms are in fact songs to God :D

@Hraefncin I strongly agree but with the qualification that scripture is The Word if it is interpreted perfectly. If it were it would be fully through Christ and so it would be a presentation of Christ to us. But no, I don't think that the scripture is 'alive' in the sense that it Christ makes himself perfectly clear to each individual reader. That much is clear from the long history of conflicting interpretations.
