Nocturne in c-sharp minor

okay so i just watched the movie "The pianist" very emotional and sad movie i must say. anwyays, this song is in there, and i really like it, so i found it in one of my dusty piano books and whipped it out. its not perfect or polished =/, but i think it's the emotion that counts! i just wanted to play this so badly i couldn't wait haha.




p.s. borrowing friend's camera. video quality isn't as good, but the audio is better :)

Nicely played, can you publish a how to play? I am currently learning this piece and I have a little bit of difficulty with the scale parts, do you have any tips?

hey buddy, sorry for the incredibly late response haha.

i don't really have time to post a tutorial right now, but i will give you a tip w/ the scales, though it may sound obvious.

just play the right hand only, going very slowly, working on finger dexterity and strength, and practice them again and again! the more you do it the more smooth it will be and eventually you can match it up w/ the easy left hand part.
