Tires Plus Scam

Back in March of 2009, I had an apparent overheating issue. After it was all said and done the total cost plus court fees, time off of work, rental car, and repair cost me $4200. The problem was when some head work was done by Tires Plus, they placed the timing chain on incorrectly causing the car to run rough. I had sufficient evidence to prove in court but since my witnesses decided not to appear in good faith as I've asked them to since they've witnessed my car, my case was dismissed. Since I lost, I'm here to expose Tires Plus with their non ASE certified technicians. The tech who worked on my car had NO certification and was only a suspension and steering specialist and he put my timing chain on wrong. The judge believed Tires Plus over me so this is the evidence that the judge refused to see at court. Whatever you do ladies and gents, NEVER GO TO TIRES PLUS, they will fix your issue and break something else causing a return trip or in my case to take it to real people who are PROs at what they do. In this failed economy, we cannot afford to throw money away on careless mistakes like this. The next video I will be uploading is all of the paper work that was involved. Hopefully we the people can stop patronizing Tires Plus for scamming customers and showing false certifications in their, so called "SHOP".

My first question would be, why would you take video of your car running hot before it went to the shop? Next, Running an engine while OVERHEATING, well, that's just stupid all together. You didn't prove anything with this video. Ever wonder why your witnesses never appeared for court on your behalf? As a retired Judge, I have had many cases like this. I would have dismissed it my self. Just a reminder, the plaintiff has to supply the burden of proof. Not the defendant.

@Magicman1264 the judge I had was a meathead, I had paper work from the other mechanics stating their fuck up, the timing chain was placed on wrong and I drove it as it was and they (TIRES PLUS) did some other shit to my car to burn out my wire harness out. The judge refused to call the mechanic as listed on paper and ended my case. Tires Plus is bull shit and I'll always put that out there no matter what, unless they buy me a whole new car, then I'll shut up.

I agree with Bullitt01914 Tires Plus isnt the one to blame i dont see it overheating but i do see this knucklhead driven around with the temp guage pinned to hot (probably well past 230°f) and that my friend destroys head gaskets & aluim.cylinder heads so dont slander Tires Plus when its YOU that did it!

@MrUSAredWHITEblue This car has been traded in! Now you and the rest of the folks on here are missing the point. Nissan Sentras have timing chains when you have to take apart the head. The idiot tech there took the chain off, didn't note the position of the chain and fucked it up. I have the paper work from the mechanic who fixed it. Tire plus also fucked with my air/fuel mixture and just fucked it all up. They are complete scumbuckets! We want our cars fixed not sabotaged!

Tires plus stores in the Denver area are nothing more than adult daycare's. I personally, and many other people including employees. Say that they are ripoffs. Numerous complaints of overcharging practices. Replacing parts that are perfectly good. Insisting to the customer that recommended repairs be done to solve their problem. Only to find out that after paying for the recommended repairs. That wasn't even the problem. Leaving the customer with a huge bill and the same problem.

ive been a tech for many dealerships an this guy is a moron....you dont video your car hitting 270 degrees unless your an ass....come on now really??an yes the air fuel ratio is ecm controlled an tires plus does not have ability to change it,so your maf or etc was prob screwed up cause you caused such extreme temps an shit or you warped a head or intake....i woulda never let you get that far in court...you seem like a very shady individual to me...trying to get shit for free..

That's why you do stuff your self. Obviously it over heats. First check your coolant, then Check your thermostat, if that's good check your hoses, if there good check your water pump, then you might need a new head gasket and if you over heated it a lot you might of warped the head then you need to get that re surfaced, then check your block to see if it's warped. The lesson, maintain your car properly. The CEL and SES light doesn't come on for no reason.

Now everybody calm down. The reason the Nissan overheated is because the owner probably decided to run it low on coolant. Aftermarket parts will affect the stock performance. The Nissan catalysts are junk. Did anyone ever scan it? Or better yet, is it near 100 grand? The proper diagnosis could lead to something completely different. I know you check your youtube comments. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. If the overheating warped the intake, idle fluctuation. Nissan..lets start with that

Driving with the engine pegged on H is truly brilliant anyway. And videoing it? WHo does that? Kinda suspicious if you ask me. Why would you take a damaged engine to a quick lube?  The only thing this poor shop did wrong was take your sorry car in. You know why dealers cost more? Because each tech has thousands of dollars of training, as well as tons of thousands of dollars of special tools. In automotive, you get what you pay for.

@pharrari ...i know you probably no longer have the car but WOW your going to blame them for your air/mixture issue.... obviously your the fuck stick that your dad should have shot on the wall cause your air/fuel mixture is ran and controled by your ECM ( computer)... i would have ran a code reader or scan tool to see what the computer said... it could have been any senors you had from o2 to an MAF
