Die Darsteller (u.a.): Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Corvette, Chrysler, De Soto,
Dodge, Edsel., Firebird, Ford, , Kaiser, Mercury, Motorama, Nash, Plymoth, Rambler, Skyliner, Studebaker, Sunliner, Thunderbird...

  • When American cars were No. 1 in the World! This used to be a hell of a good country!

  • Once upon a time there was a country on Earth which citizens dedicated as much love as no-one did to their own. At a time sky was the limit and oil wasn't a problem, creativity was the fuel which ran the dreams of everyone. Their dreams led them to some of the most magnificent automobiles ever produced. Not only cars, but works of art. Distinguished, elegant and iconic vehicles which raised the legend...

The legend of American Cars... evey kid would miss those days, even not having lived it.

  • I owned a 1957 Ford and changed the oil and had it serviced every three thousand miles It was one of the best cars I ever had I drove it over two hundred thousand miles with only a few repairs other that tires and a clutch replaced two times.

Remember the 1957 ford car in-- “Thunder Road”--- It looked and sound just like that car.

My father-in-law drove a 1956 Plymouth over three hundred miles with just a motor overhaul once. Yep they were great cars.

  • Revisionist History at it's best. All I can say is that it's a good thing "they don't build 'em like they used to". By 100,000 miles, the typical '50's death trap was a worn-out rust bucket. Want a dose of reality? Watch the YouTube video with a '60's Chevy offset head-on versus a recent vintage Malibu. Lots of nostalgia for something that never existed, IMHO....

  • I had an Edsel, it was a GREAT car!!! LOve these old commercials!

  • I'll take one of each!

  • yeah baby ride my rocket

  • Das beste order nitsch in America!!!Vundebah! (or there about,y'all)

  • Why are half of these in another language?

  • The problem with America today lies in the fact that the quality of customer service has become so..... cold. Even the commercials today are generally sadder, dramatic, and generally not uplifting. They don't advertise the greatness of America today because the -attitudes- of the people that made America great and pleasant are practically all gone. Pretty much Americans today are driven by fear and uncertainty rather than hope, optimism, community, vigilance, and creative passion.

  • the real dream cars came from the independent auto companies in the 1950s
